Andy Griffin
Griffin started off his successful playing career at Stoke City in 1996 and soon established a name for himself as a tough wing back defender. His outstanding performances for the club earned him a move to Newcastle United in 1998 after making over 70 appearances for Stoke City. He is most notable at Newcastle United for scoring a crucial winning goal in a champions league match against Juventus during the 2002 – 2003 season. He signed for Portsmouth in 2004 and in September 2006 was loaned back to Stoke City.
