Jimmy Greenhoff

Greenhoff was an entertaining forward who started off his playing career at Leeds united and Birmingham City before moving on to play for Stroke City in August 1969 in a deal worth around £100,000. He was a key member of the Stoke team that won the 1972 league cup final and went on to record over 325 appearances for the club and scored over 80 goals for the club. He later on enjoyed spells playing for Manchester United and Crewe Alexandra.
